The running race Phuket 21.1 – Phuket Half-Marathon 2022 in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Phuket Office. Under the concept of sports tourism to portray the beautiful natural scenery and the fascinating way of life of the people living in the community of Paklok Sub-district.

Phuket 21.1, the race will take place in Paklok on September 24-25, 2022, featuring a Fun Run 5K, a Mini-Marathon 10K, and a Half-Marathon 21.1K. The race routes are surrounded by lush greenery and a community atmosphere, offering the runners a chance to enjoy a pleasant natural ambience and embrace the local life at the same time.

Paklok is located on the east coast of Phuket island where you can wake up with the rising sun and relish in the amazing backdrop of Phang Nga Bay. The village stretches east from the Heroines Monument to the outer eastern coast. It is well-known to many of the most rural tourist attractions on the island. It is home to several type of animals where Khao Phra Thaeo Wildlife Park is situated, the Bang Pae Waterfall, the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project and the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary are within its boundaries. Paklok is also home to the mangrove forest, where the vast majority of marine life has sheltered.
